Day 2 - Westminster Abbey

Started off taking London's underground train, affectionately known as "the tube"
which we found to be bright and cheerful and clean.

Came up to find it was absolutely pouring

and then headed over to Westminster Abbey.
It was awe-inspiring to see a place with so much history.
Every coronation and wedding, history going back 1000 years,
standing next to the tomb of Queen Elizabeth,
and Mary Queen of Scotts.  It was quite emotional at moments.

Somehow this was one of my favorite views/shots

I looked out here and was ready to practice broomstick flying! haha

One of the few things Danny wanted to see in London was Big Ben.
We walked to where it was supposed to be, couldn't find it anywhere,
and then discovered why.

He said, with disappointment in his voice, "Well, we saw it!"

We are absolutely in love with these taxis!!
With the narrow streets, and fast drivers, we kept expecting Jason
Bourne to come flying around any corner.

Note: As this time it is 11 pm, and we are headed across the street for a pint.
Yup. Dad hit vacation mode. haha
