Woke up and opened the window to check out the view, and
was greeted by lambs and sheep and goats and chickens all making noise!
I really felt just like Lizzy in Pride and Prejudice when she
swings open the sash windows and greets the day!
(or is that Cinderella? haha)
Today we decided to just stay at the cottage and rest.
We have been doing so much...
Started the day off having coffee in this room with this view.
Then set up in the dining room to finish making plans for the
rest of the trip.
Had a wonderful breakfast with English "bacon"
Since it's Father's Day, this guy here is doing something he enjoys.
And I messed around taking pictures.
Had some tea!
And then we had a wonderful meal which we purchased at a local market -
it's basically made in the store and you bring it home and cook it - we were skeptical -
but it was AMAZING!
Beef bourguignon and shepherd's pie!
