Graduation Day

No words for today.  It was beautiful, emotional, and so final.  Will post all the pictures tomorrow.  Tonight I am too emotionally drained.
I will say that I am so proud of my son that I could burst.

And I needed this reminder.

Two More Days!!

I can't believe the big "G" word happens in two days.  I am grateful that I have just been too busy getting ready for it to let it all sink in.  I know when it's over the crash will come, and then I will lose it. Big time.

Made cookies today for the party I am having for Jacob.  Airplanes and rockets to go along with his aerospace engineering and Air Force future.

My own little "moon man."

Danny's New Car

Today Danny and Ryan got up early and drove all the way to North Carolina to pick up the car Danny won in an auction last week.  I KNOW he is super excited since he has wanted a classic car his entire life and has been saving up for it.  So happy for him!!

Memorial Day = Family Time

Had a great Memorial Day meal with the whole family!  Everyone I love most was here!  (hubby, kids, parents, dog...)  I would say we had a "cookout" but that didn't happen.  Danny opened up the ribs to cook and they were spoiled, so I had to run out and get them from a restaurant.  Of ALL the days of the year to not grill and have a cookout!!

Indy enjoying some canteloupe.

And some watermelon.

And some corn.

Eyeballing the ribs the whole time though...

We all enjoyed a delicious dessert!!

Blessings

Today Matt and Maria totally surprised and blessed my parents by washing their car.  It was so kind and so thoughtful.  I am a lucky mom!!

Costco

Saw some interesting people at Costco today.  Also, a little boy came up to Hannah and asked her if she was the girl from Frozen!  So sweet...

An Asian superman just standing up there on a raised platform.  Didn't quite get it...

???  No idea who she was supposed to be... ???

Last Day at Dr. Soliman's

Today we all had an appointment with Dr. Soliman and got passing reports!  All are healthy! (with the exception of Matt who is still undergoing treatment for lyme)  It was the first time that he said we don't need to see him for 6-8 months!  In his words, we all "graduated!!"

He and his staff have been such a big part of our lives for so long that I took a few pictures today to celebrate the end and remember the healing we received at his hands.  It seems like so many posts lately have been about things ending... I eagerly anticipate the days of new beginnings!

 Dr. Soliman working his magic.

Faithful, helpful, kind Sue.  In the end, I felt like she was my friend.

Lenore.  Sweet, beautiful Lenore.  She was the most helpful person of all - always willing to explain things to us and take all the time necessary to make sure we understood.
I will absolutely miss her smiling face and cheerful greetings.

After we left we went to celebrate with Chipotle and Krispy Kreme!!

Last day at MCI

Today was Hannah's last day ever at MCI, and boy was she elated!!  She took her last marine biology test and then it was all over!

Here is the view I had each week waiting for her to come out, at the back of the church.

Today was a beautiful, sunny day.

View of the parking lot.
Exciting.

 Here she comes!!!

Friends

I decided to head to the basement to get a picture of Jacob and Hannah with their friends Emma and Robert.  I had no idea it was going to be so difficult.

I started off with just Robert...

Jacob instinctively went to his natural pose - crossed arms, no smile.  Robert tried to imitate him.  So they all decided to do the same.

Couldn't hold it for long without cracking up.

Let's try the sibling huggy thing...

Never did get a real shot.  But hey - these are even better!!
