Quarantine Life

During this pandemic, it's hard to actually grasp the historical significance of what
is happening.  You hear things like "worst pandemic in human history" and
"worse than the Great Depression" and you can't really take it in or comprehend
that we are living through a very historical event.

Daily life is affected by not being able to go out to eat or shop or buy
groceries - and the social isolation can be challenging.

Ordering groceries can take up to 10 days to actually get.
You have to plan ahead a lot - and ration food until then.
We have plenty of food - that's for sure - but we are
missing the fresh food - like avocados, oranges, eggs and dairy, etc.
We are currently completely out of any type of Lysol spray
to disinfect the air - but we do have one last tub of wipes and
lots of hand sanitizer.

Yesterday was 3 weeks since I went to any public place.  I had no idea
then that it would be my last time out.
Danny went to Costco for prescriptions two weeks ago today -
and that was his last time out as well.
I think we are safe...for now.

I feel like Anne Frank writing some kind of diary about life in lockdown! haha

Some pictures of our life in Quarantine!

One of the masks Maria is making to donate!

Current status of cases in Carlsbad: 32
They predict that we won't reach the peak amount until April 24...
