Today is the last day we have little Mike here before his owners come to pick him up. I have a feeling that Indy is going to miss his little buddy.
Much of the day was spent getting Jacob's packages of stuff ready to send off to college. NOT an easy day for this mom. I just can't believe that I am packing up his stuff to head off to college! Not making his lunch to go on a field trip, or making him a smoothie after a workout, or taking him driving, but packing up his stuff to leave home. I just don't know how we as parents are supposed to let go.
This is the picture I have as the background on my computer. It is so that I can feel like I went down to Jacob's room and saw him there still. Every day.
