First week in our new home

Getting settled in the new home has had a few bumps, but overall has been fun and made us realize how lucky we are to have this place.
We have ocean views, ocean breezes, private back yard, cul-de-sac peace, birds singing every day, wonderful neighbors (the few that we met so far),  we are close to lots of things, and most of all, it's just such a relief to be in a place to call our own.
A place to call home.

We had two dog birthdays in the first week too!

Indy turned 8

And Freya turned 2

Thanks to Maria, the dogs had birthday cake too!

We were greeted on Saturday with this note at the front door - a warning that some of the neighborhood kids planned to prank us.
We laughed and thought it was cute -
then the next day we had doorbell rings and runs,
and the next day shaving cream all over the cars.

Pretty sure Matt was able to intimidate them from coming back!
He went out and just gently questioned them, but they ran and we haven't seen them again!
Fingers crossed.

Celebrated our new home with a MD style crab feast in the back yard!
