Danny's hands gripped the wheel almost the entire time - especially on the switchback sections
Once we got to the top, and I got out of the car and walked into the gift shop, I really felt like I was going to pass out. Danny escorted me back out to the car where I waited while they went in in and got donuts. Turns out that I was dehydrated which is a big problem when reaching such an altitude. Don't know if I will EVER go to the top again!
Somewhere around here on the way up I asked if we could turn around and go back down because I was really feeling light-headed...
People who make it to the top are rewarded with their famous, warm donuts!!
So glad we made it! Once we reached the bottom Danny told Hannah that no matter what she couldn't return her shirt! haha
