West Point and New York City

Here are some of the pictures of Hogwarts/I mean West Point!! It was absolutely beautiful there - it really was like a castle.  I would LOVE to have gone to school there.  (okay, not really. Couldn't hack the military part.)

 View from the library balcony

 This is the dining hall

Reminds me so much of the Great Hall in Hogwarts!

After West Point we went on to New York City for a couple of days.

Jacob and I went to see an exhibit at Discovery Museum called "Art of the Brick."  It was phenomenal - an artist had built amazing sculptures out of nothing but legos.

And we all went to see the Avengers exhibit at the same museum.  Pretty cool also.

Had dinner at an Irish Pub

 New York Public Library

View from the Empire State Building at night

We saw this homeless man in the street with three puppies on his lap

Jacob and Hannah at Times Square

Went to see two movies at this theatre

Got Lobster Tails (a pastry) from the Cake Boss bakery

Our hotel was right next to this shop...mmmmmmmmmmm.......

Ryan and I spent one evening going to Madame Toussads wax museum while the others went to the Empire State Building. We laughed a ton at their 4D cheesy superhero movie, but we had so much fun together.  I really enjoyed my one on one time with Ryan.  Then we walked around Times Square for a bit and went back to the room.

We wanted to share this piece of cheesecake but up on the 29th floor of the hotel we had no plastic forks or anything, so Ryan came up with a grand idea - he ripped some cardboard from the box it was in into two "scoops" and we ate the cheesecake with cardboard utensils!  It was quite a memory!!  Eating expensive cheesecake while viewing NYC with cardboard scoops! haha

Love my little guy.
