California with the Burows

They haven't even been here for 48 hours yet...

and we've done so much.

Beautiful weather

Poor Hannah has been sick with a miserable cold, but while she is confined to bed she is producing some beautiful art.

Took a walk along the beach this morning with Maria and the dogs!

So here is our last night in Florida!

Danny and I went and re-visited our favorite restaurant/bar.

This waitress was selling potions (shots) in cute little bottles - so genius!

We hadn't flown Jet Blue in a while, and were very impressed with their healthy food choices.

Way to go Jet Blue!

Made it home and are getting ready for a visit from the Burow family in two days!

Technical difficulties

The blog app will not allow me to add photos again! I am working on trying to figure out why as I don’t want to shut down again for this reason.  Technology is great when it works but not much is more frustrating when it doesn’t work!! 😩😒😩

“Five guys" reunion in Reunion!

Danny hosted a group of friends for the weekend and it seems they had a great time!

Bill had recently gone to Cuba and brought back Cuban cigars and rum to share.

Favorite pics this trip

Last night we experienced a medical emergency with Hannah - a virus caused her to pass out and fall in her bathroom.  She woke up with a scary amount of blood on the floor and we took her to the emergency room for stitches.  They ran every imaginable test on her to make sure it wasn't caused by something else, and so now we are trying to figure out if we can fly home tomorrow or not.  Either way she is in a lot of pain and struggling with nausea, so hoping for the best!

Quick day at the park

We are running out of time quickly now, and the only time we went to Hollywood Studios was a rainy day and we were in and out in an hour or two.

It needed more time! haha

Visitors

So Jacob went back to school, and now we are just working around the house and getting together with old friends and some family.  A much slower pace.

Kumu and Donna Dreier came for dinner last night and it was beyond wonderful to get time with dear friends that are more like family!  It was so nice to catch up and we had so much to chat about I forgot to take a picture of them!

Grandaddy brought a box full of old photos and school memories from the farm for Danny to keep.

And faithful Matt and Maria are still at home caring for the dogs despite having their own challenges.  Matt had a little stint in the emergency room with some strange symptoms, and now is home recovering. All is well! (nothing serious - but needs some recovery time!)

We are now at the point I can't wait to get back home to CA!
